Some years ago, I had the pleasure to work in a hospital. I found it depressing at times because it seemed as if it was a revolving door to pain and anguish. I also found it shocking how a human can inflict injury upon another. Whether a patient would come in due to injury or illness I would always be amazed on how the staff always did their very best to treat each case.

The medical staff often worked in a hostile atmosphere due to the strain of it's location in the City but they never flinched at the threat for the welfare of the patient was first at hand.

People often feel as if medical professionals are above mistakes; but it should be realized that it's not uncommon for them to work twenty-four hours on the clock. They are only human, and with that being said, they will have an error sometime. In my opinion, safety and health services should be revered in a higher status than others as without their knowledge, we would have a very short life span.

Each human is unique in some way over another and there are times when it may come down to a best guess scenario, and the public should realize that the treatment may be harsher than the illness or injury.
